Marshmallow Test and middle class assumptions

http://indy100.independent.co.uk/article/theres-a-big-problem-with-one-of-the-most-popular-assumptions-about-the-poor–Z1ggN4SRZNb

Poor people believe all money is like water. See lottery winners who refused to save.

The present reward is guaranteed. Tomorrow the rules might change or someone else might take it.

Common sense is distrustful of rules and authorities like scientists.

Poor children are stressed, measured by vagal tone. I wish there’d been amygdala measures, like size.

Middle class children aren’t normal, they are naive.
