Corvée, internship slavery

WHO ABOLISHED CORVEE LABOUR IN EGYPT AND WHY?

INTERNS BUILT DA PYRAMIDS!

Hey, better or worse than taxation of your (otherwise) savings? The Government just steals your personal profit from the profit of your labour. Is the tax percentage higher or lower than your savings one?*

Either way, you’re a slave!

That’s three ways, for those counting:

  1. debt (and collectors) – Future labour owed
  2. forced labour – Present labour demanded
  3. taxation confiscation (invented in the 19/20th centuries, for war only). – Past labour taken twice. The taxing labour itself (2) and then, as in a criminal punishment, a fine levied on the sacrosanct fruits of one’s individual labour.

For 1 and 3

We wuz repossessed?

“The collection of taxes was often performed by coercion.”

Some things never change.

…whatever happened to consent, consent of the governed?

“Attempts were made to tax other parts of the population, and as one could hardly supervise everybody’s economic activities, Late Period Egyptians had to declare their income.”

If this is true, this may confirm, to him, his theory that Exodus Jews were also the “habiru”, buffer mercenaries of Egypt who became unmanageable & fearsome and were “set to labor” as corvee.

Essentially, he states that a transition from mercenary to outright slave is unlikely because there would undoubtedly be opposition, hastening the Exodus outcome.

Write a musical about it and people might give a shit.

Liberal example*

It doesn’t matter if you get 5% on your “savings”, if before that you lost 30% of your “earnings”.

Ancient Egyptians weren’t black

Unless you mean the slaves.

If only we had a field of scientific study to tell.

Before white people invaded and since apartheid ended, Africa has had no excuse to be shit.

If they had a monarchy system, they might’ve had one King.

They’ve never had an Empire. Quite sad, actually. Every other race has.

They’re still trying to say raging tart Cleopatra wasn’t Greek.

Spot the Afro. I’m still waiting for the Poundland Princess to bring those back like a proud black woman.

Clues about Ancient Egyptian race

http://listverse.com/2015/05/10/10-intriguing-clues-about-ancient-egyptian-ethnicity/

There needs to be a distinction made between the population and the nobility/monarchy.

Nobody ever does in this topic.

Up until around the 19th century, the West referred to black people as meaning they had dark hair.

Hence, Black Irish. The typical Irish.

There were no people with dark skin, and they’d have been called their tribe.

If you read the diarists.

Their analysis indicated that he had red hair, a trait never found in sub-Saharan Africa.

i am shocked

Because Ramesses was known to have been of Libyan descent, historians have speculated that he probably had relatively light skin,

Remember, it’s a rookie mistake to assume the current population living there is genetically the same one from thousands of years ago. Wars happened.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian authorities were accused of trying to cover up Tut’s possible Jewish heritage due to the current tensions in the Middle East.

Surrounded by liars.

Yids waz kangs?

No, have you seen their totally straight noses? No.

However, most actual genetic experts acknowledge that ancient DNA is incredibly easy to contaminate (in one famous case, DNA identified as belonging to a dinosaur turned out to be from a modern human), making any DNA study of King Tut highly suspect.

Convenient.

But surely if they kept taking samples that wouldn’t be a problem?
They usually take samples by extraction too, not the surface.

What did the genetics say again?

Half of European men share King Tut’s DNA

Aah. Right.

Most modern linguists favor the “black land” meaning of the word. They argue that the Nile River’s yearly floods brought rich black soil, which ensured the country’s agricultural prosperity. As a result, the Egyptians called their land Kmt. The black soil provided a sharp visual contrast with the desert sands around the Nile, which ancient Egyptians called dsrt (“the red land”). But only the parts of Egypt closest to the Nile would have flooded with the black soil, and the Egyptians did not have any vocabulary to refer to race, so perhaps neither argument is wholly correct

The country with a religion revolving around the Nile, names itself after the soil it enriches?

Boggling.

Truly.

Some scholars have asserted that Arsinoe IV was part-African, meaning that Cleopatra’s mother (and Cleopatra herself) could have been part-African as well. In the 1990s, an archaeologist claimed to have identified Arsinoe’s tomb and skeleton. However, DNA testing on the bones was inconclusive—and we’re still not even sure that they’re her bones. It seems likeliest that Cleopatra was generally Mediterranean, a mix of Greek and various other nationalities. Ultimately, most classicists dismiss the question of Cleopatra’s race

Don’t look, don’t look they say

She was Greek.

Ptolemaic. Greek.
Maybe a little of something else, but mostly Greek.

They look so African

right?

totes African

Cleopatra

Cleopatra Selene, above

Does that nose look African to you? Jawline? Eye shape?

The Egyptians depicted themselves with skin tones ranging from light brown, to red, yellow, or black. Men were often darker than women, probably to indicate that males did manual labor outdoors, but ancient Egyptian artwork was not realistic and most skin tones were probably symbolic rather than realistic.

Yes, like the colouring on that last picture.

to distinguish themselves from the Nubians (a people who lived in what is now Sudan), since they drew themselves with reddish or copper skin, but often painted Nubians black. Complicating the matter, a professor of African history has accused modern Egyptian authorities of tampering with ancient Egyptian artwork in order to hide their African features.

Modern scholars consider it almost impossible to judge the Sphinx’s ethnicity, since millennia of rain, wind, and heat have worn down the statue’s face.

Fair enough.

The world owes white people

Actually.

The list would be so long, and so what?

White people literally invented science itself.

You can’t top that.

The Scientific Method?
1600s Europe, at the earliest.
Truly, the Scientific Enlightenment primarily in France, some England, a little Germany, formalized it. All those subjects and branches and divisions you now know? Taught in the universities. Nobody else even knew what these were, so they can’t claim it and they certainly didn’t teach it either.
All NW Europeans, mostly upper class men, a smattering of a few women.

Previously we had ‘natural science’ (the term for this is German, which should give you a clue), mucking about with plants mostly. Labeling and drawing, not really an experimental manipulation, is it?
I guess it’s like saying we had ancient ‘doctors’ – who didn’t see a disease they didn’t wanna stick a leech on.

Except… that isn’t the meaning of the term as we use it in modernity, is it?

Don’t be intellectually dishonest.

Fun fact: leech still means doctor, it’s a synonym.

It’s like trying to claim evaporation cooling was Muslim when at the latest it was Egyptian but probably stolen from more ancient civilizations, there are examples at Pompeii.
Islam mostly murdered its tall poppies because they questioned the religion. That isn’t whitey’s fault.
They had a few good philosophers – not scientists. There was the occasional competent mathematician, but if that’s how low your standard… not to mention, they only built upon Greek and Hindu developments.
I haven’t seen an Islamic Antikythera mechanism. If they had such an advanced knowledge, there’d be proof and they’d use it in battle. Compare with Greek fire, a variant of which was referenced in Game of Thrones. The knowledge of Greek fire was probably lost because of the Muslim conquests going on at the same time. Thanks, Mohammed.

A little chemistry was developed during the Renaissance but kept quiet by something called a guild.
See Venice and mirrors.

You look at the root of anything STEM and I guarantee you there’s a racial European at the heart of it. I’ve yet to find a single exception.

However, the Egyptians did some fine, pioneering medicinal work in the field of surgery, which isn’t technically a science. These findings were stolen by Muslims.

Along with the country and its women. Look at the modern racial composition.

The eldest surgical examples I’ve seen are European, see trepanning.
Those damn Frenchies, inventing neurosurgery! (As English, we hate giving the French credit for anything except losing). It’s painful for me to admit that, viscerally painful.

Video: The Druids and the Egyptians

hey, these posts are fun

advice to the guy: faster tempo, less monotone sound like you’re reading out a lecture, imagine you’re flirting with someone at a bar, fast back and forth to ideas

Contains:
The origin of the name Scotland and the Stone of Destiny.
Africans don’t have red hair and straight noses, also statues are absorbent, a lot of people dunno that. These white people (red hair is recessive down the ENTIRE line, it’s a Neanderthal trait actually) brought horses and chariots to Egypt, along with metallurgical technology (later expanded during the Scientific Revolution).
NW European genetics link at 7 minutes. GENETICS. 70% of British men. Less than 1% of modern Egyptians have that connection.
BOOM.

boom boom boom blackadder
KANGS WUZ KANGS. WIZARD KINGS WITH MAGIC ROCKS.

Once read a theory that Jesus was in Britain during one of his disappearing binges.
I bet that ties in.

Someone get this guy on alt right podcasts.
Seriously, why is he not a thing?

Relates to the Rhesus Negative mutation, which prevents outbreeding to an extent by aborting Positive babies (look it up, medical fact), thereby it must‘ve evolved in isolation (recessive).
Rh- is not present in Africans. It comes from the Cro Magnon man.

TLDR: OOA (Out of Africa) is BS. The BBC should really hire this guy since he crosses over into forensics, wider biology and other fields that are nigh-on impossible to falsify (unlike most mainstream cultural anthropology). That would be intellectually honest, which we know they are not.

The woman on the cover of The Occult Secrets of Vril may have known Nikola Tesla.

I… heard.
Somewhere.

‘Follow your heart’ is old advice

Like, hella.

0v0

Follow your heart as long as you live,
Do no more than is required . . .
Don’t waste time on daily cares
Beyond providing for your household;
When wealth has come, follow your heart,
Wealth does no good if one is glum!

It meant more in Egyptian culture, canopic jars, spirit types etc. They had about 5-6 types of soul.

Speaking of—-

Why yes, JK Rowling is totally original as an author and didn’t completely rip off The Worst Witch.
Speaking of luvvies? Here’s a dramatic irony;

Benedict Cumberbatch – feminist, member of the Garrick (it’s a club that excludes women).
