Mary Worship, paganism, and the demonic influence of roses

Interesting, at least from an historical perspective.

No mortal can forgive sin, this includes the Pope. You are only forgiven by Jesus as a conduit to God Himself. This is Bible 101, kids. I’m tired of people assuming God has forgiven them because Person said a Thing. Nope, you’re never quite certain until you die, and Works are not barter chips for Heaven. Realtalk.

You can tell the Mary stuff is idolatry because they speak of her as equal to the Lord, to Jesus, and they describe her in the exact terms of Gaia, literal Mother Earth, hence the ties to shrubbery. “The rose was a privileged symbol for Mary, Queen of heaven and earth.” Floral metaphors are usually symbolic of the labia, this also applies to the symbol of Christianity, Vesica Pisces, symbolizing …Mary’s vulva. They’re literally worshiping the woman who gave birth to the One, instead of the One. Never pray to someone who died and didn’t come back (an act of divine intervention), the death of Mary isn’t even mentioned by the Bible, she’s such a non-entity.

There is a story in paganism of the formation of the rose. Well, there are many.

Beauty and the Beast reads similar to Psyche. http://www.greeka.com/greece-myths/eros-psyche.htm
“From that moment on, Eros and Psyche lived happily together in their lovely palace, which was always full of roses and other flowers.”

“The Romans also saw roses as a symbol of death and rebirth, and they often planted them on graves.”
They are connected to death, contrary to popular belief.

For the lolz, same YTer.

Maybe Donald won by the occult too. Religious police are bad for the religious because the State thinks it is God.

How TF could a Protestant, taught by a Freemason, hire a Catholic group to represent Christians????
The Catholics called themselves the original Church, but they didn’t require a massive male-exclusive city rife with scandal, taking all your money and political power. The original Christians were underground, opposed to such things, Jesus never called for anything like a Papacy.

Link: Forgiveness isn’t sainthood

As a one-off? Probably healthy. Little things like forgetting your birthday or breaking a vase.

As a habit?

Something’s wrong, and it might be the person ‘forgiving’. In cases of learned helplessness, they always try to portray themselves as perfect and forgiving. In fact, they enable bad behaviours, encourage evil people by being a doormat and get off on being the victim.

It’s an excuse to indulge repeatedly in grossly destructive behaviour by denying personal agency and forgiving the Evil figure who caused it. The opposite of saintly (scapegoating). And trying to claim status points by signalling afterward? Worse than the person they’re supposedly forgiving, they play everyone.

You should forgive something if it is entirely in the past and doesn’t matter at all anymore.

Otherwise, it’s foolish, because the conditions aren’t finished yet.

Article: I can tolerate anything except the outgroup

This is a gem.

http://slatestarcodex.com/2014/09/30/i-can-tolerate-anything-except-the-outgroup/

My favourite part is this story;

Tolerance is definitely considered a virtue, but it suffers the same sort of dimished expectations forgiveness does.

Lack of standards, the 21st century problem.

The Emperor summons before him Bodhidharma and asks: “Master, I have been tolerant of innumerable gays, lesbians, bisexuals, asexuals, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, transgender people, and Jews. How many Tolerance Points have I earned for my meritorious deeds?”

Bodhidharma answers: “None at all”.

The Emperor, somewhat put out, demands to know why not.

Bodhidharma asks: “Well, what do you think of gay people?”

The Emperor answers: “What do you think I am, some kind of homophobic bigot? Of course I have nothing against gay people!”

And Bodhidharma answers: “Thus do you gain no merit by tolerating them!”

sherlock bbc cracking up lol laughing so hard

“If I had to define “tolerance” it would be something like “respect and kindness toward members of an outgroup”.”
