Fat soil makes you healthier

Nature is so weird.

The discovery, published Monday in the journal Psychopharmacology, may at least partly explain how the bacterium, Mycobacterium vaccae, quells stress-related disorders. It also brings the researchers one step closer to developing a microbe-based “stress vaccine.”

Why get a vaccine when you can literally stick your hand in the ground?

British scientist David Strachan first proposed the controversial “hygiene hypothesis” in 1989, suggesting that in our modern, sterile world, lack of exposure to microorganisms in childhood was leading to impaired immune systems and higher rates of allergies and asthma. Researchers have since refined that theory, suggesting that it is not lack of exposure to disease-causing germs at play, but rather to “old friends” — beneficial microbes in soil and the environment that we have long lived alongside — and that mental health is also impacted.

Blood and soil. Foreign invaders haven’t adapted to our land. Useful if you know a pandemic is coming. Nationalism is biological, it’s about adaptation through generations to one ecosystem and even overall evolution e.g. nasal shape. Birthright is a term for it legally. Your success and potential to flourish depends on remaining in that land. I know eventually our boat people will leave and part of it will be a sense they don’t fit here, climate events or not, people move to where their genome evolved to, over a long timeline.

Of course, cutting off the electric would hasten the process.

Also why you eat local, at least a little. And keep away from most spices, they inhibit adaptation (absorption) to local valuable microbes (priceless in SHTF). At least don’t eat them at the same time. Those Middle Eastern spices came about because their local microbes are deadly.

I know I mentioned this finding before but still.

They also found that when cells were pre-treated with the lipid they were more resistant to inflammation when stimulated.

Fat isn’t the enemy. Lab fat is.

And if further studies show the novel fat alone has therapeutic effects, that molecule could become a target for drug development, he said.

It’s literally in dirt, fuck you I’ll buy a shovel.

Can we make shekels off this free natural product?

Overall, the study offers further proof that our “old friends” have a lot to offer.

I wonder if a study of immigrants to an area would show the same benefits. Probably reduced if any.

They didn’t co-evolve.

“This is just one strain of one species of one type of bacterium that is found in the soil but there are millions of other strains in soils,” Lowry said. “We are just beginning to see the tip of the iceberg in terms of identifying the mechanisms through which they have evolved to keep us healthy. It should inspire awe in all of us.”

So glad I was ordered to play in dirt as a child.

Being a good parent is bad for the body

Being a good parent will physiologically destroy you, new research confirms

The stress of it?

A team from Northwestern University has examined the hidden costs of parental empathy. They found that while the children of empathetic parents are better off physically and emotionally, the parents’ cells reveal chronic, low-grade inflammation. When their children suffer psychologically, empathetic parents’ immune systems take a hit.

…Children of empathetic parents also showed lower levels of inflammatory markers. Their parents were just the opposite. Their samples revealed this low-grade systemic inflammation.

Of course the brain is part of the immune system, we’ve been trying to tell you for years

I want to draw your attention to something.

Something small. The lesson is crucial.

“but the true significance of the discovery lies in the effects it could have on the study and treatment of neurological diseases ranging from autism to Alzheimer’s disease to multiple sclerosis.”

Called it on Alzheimer’s.

Called it on autism.

I feel like fucking Cassandra. I don’t say this from a point of vanity, it enrages me, the arrogance of these people to not look in the places pointed out to them for years (autoimmune response from vaccines) has caused how many millions to suffer?

And now they’re laughing it off, like, LOL, textbooks need to be changed $$$$$ for us.

I, among many others, have tried in vain to point this out, only to be told the same things: “there is no uncharted part of anatomy hence no point in even looking” and “that’s for real Doctors, we just need to give them drugs”.

Remember how this finding is being treated with flippancy when you automatically accord respect to researchers and scientists thanks to their credentials or fancy title. This is why I don’t use my real credentials, (see About) either the facts and truth are there or they aren’t – regardless of whom puts them forth. They don’t care about the truth, most of them, some care about their ego and others profiteering from ailments they likely caused when they pushed for things they didn’t understand and – worst of all, didn’t want to.

Emulsifiers in food and inflammatory disease

http://news.sciencemag.org/biology/2015/02/common-ingredient-packaged-food-may-trigger-inflammatory-disease

The ingredients that lend a smooth, stable consistency to ice cream, chocolate bars, and other packaged snacks may promote certain chronic inflammatory diseases. That’s the claim of a new study, which finds increases in metabolic disease and intestinal inflammation in mice fed two common emulsifiers used in processed food. The authors are a long way from confirming similar effects in humans, but they suggest that these ingredients cause damage by disrupting the barrier between the immune system and the microbiome—the collection of microbes that inhabit our bodies……

Yes stupidity is contagious

They’ve been knowingly putting this in the food btw.

The connection with immunity is interesting……..

“Mysterious” brain inflammation implicated in Chronic Fatigue and Depression

” initial results are the first to show that neuro-inflammation is a distinct feature of chronic fatigue syndrome. This inflammation affects specific areas of the brain that are commonly linked with the kind of fatigue, pain, depression, and thought-process difficulties long associated with the syndrome, the researchers noted.”

It’s vaccines, you fucking morons.

Bad Science gives me a migrainejust 3 examples:

“The MMR vaccine also can produce a rare form of brain inflammation in some people with severe immune system deficiencies.” c/e?

Encephalitis was included as one of the vaccine injuries to be compensated for under the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act.” £££

Animal models? Check. Dogs.

Stupid Science: looking everywhere but where the answers are.
